Years ago, one of our co-founders ( & proud parent to seven cats) noticed something intriguing: After replacing a broken toy with a new one of a different color, the cats didn't enjoy the new toy as much as the old one.
Naturally, this observation led to the curious questions:
Do cats discern colors in a manner similar to humans?
Do cats choose their toys & scratchers based on color?
Determined to find answers, we delved into research and made a fascinating discovery. Cats and dogs, indeed, perceive colors, but their spectrum differs from ours. Certain shades are more visually-pleasing & enticing to interact with than others!
